Today, 6 May, 2025, the first joint conference between Salahaddin University-Erbil and the Rwanga Foundation was officially launched under the title “The First International Conference on Education, Empowerment, and Entrepreneurship.”
The event was held in the presence of Dr Amir Chali, representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Asst. Prof. Dr Kamaran Younis M. Amin, President of Salahaddin University-Erbil; Barzan Nazaht Ali, Deputy Director General of the Rwanga Foundation; Dr Dawood Atroshi, President of the University of Duhok; Dr Zana Ibrahim, President of the University of Kurdistan-Hawler; Dr Abdullah Waisi, President of the Union of Islamic Scholars of Kurdistan; alongside deans, department heads, professors, and students.
The conference will continue for three days. At the opening ceremony, the President of Salahaddin University delivered a keynote speech, expressing his delight that today marks the beginning of the first joint international conference between Salahaddin University-Erbil and the Rwanga Foundation under the slogan of “Education, Empowerment, and Entrepreneurship.”
