A memorial ceremony marking the fortieth day of mourning for the late Lecturer Asia Salim Salih, from the Department of Kurdish Language, College of Basic Education, was held on 26 October 2025 at the college premises.
The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College, the Head of Department, as well as faculty members, students, colleagues, and the family of the late lecturer.
Attendees expressed their deep sorrow at the passing of Ms Salih, remembering her as a dedicated academic and respected educator who made significant contributions to Kurdish language education.
