On 28 October 2025, Professor Dr Kamaran Younis Mohammed Amin, President of Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE), accompanied by Professor Dr Hussein Saadi, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Mr Zahir Zahir, Head of the Qalat Branch of the Kurdistan Students and Youth Union, paid a visit to the College of Arts.
During the visit, the delegation met with Assistant Professor Dr Musa Mohammed, Dean of the College, together with the Vice Dean and Heads of Departments. The President closely reviewed the college’s facilities and discussed the situation of the students, visiting those departments that had recently received the resources they required.
In another part of the visit, the President met with the Student Coordination Committee, expressing appreciation for their efforts in welcoming the new students and acknowledging their contribution to fostering an engaging academic environment.
The visit concluded with a tour of the college’s facilities, during which the President sat with students, engaged in open discussion, and listened attentively to their opinions and requests.
