On 17 March 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr Kamaran Younis M. Amin, President of Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE), awarded the academic title of Professor to eight distinguished faculty members. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr Hussein Saadi, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr Sharif Mawlood Sharif, Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, along with several university officials.
The following faculty members were honoured with the title of Professor:
- Prof. Dr Samir Joudat Bilal – College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, Director-General of the Research Centre.
- Prof. Dr Samad Sofi – Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources.
- Prof. Dr Bakhtiar Sabir – College of Administration and Economics, Dean of the College.
- Prof. Dr Jirjis Mustafa – College of Administration and Economics.
- Prof. Dr Qasim Ghafoor – College of Islamic Sciences.
- Prof. Dr Zito Awla – College of Administration and Economics.
- Prof. Dr Abdulbasit Mohammed Amin – College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences.
- Prof. Dr Mohammed Fakhri – College of Science.
