Salahaddin University Hosts Workshop on Korean Academic Relations, Language, and Culture
Today, 9 October 2024, Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE) hosted a workshop on Korean academic relations, language, and culture. The event was attended by notable figures including Asst. Prof. Dr Kamaran Younis Mohammed Amin, President of SUE; Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil; and several other university presidents and academic officials, along with the Korean Consul General.
During the opening ceremony, the President of SUE delivered a speech highlighting the university's international connections and specifically its collaboration with Korean institutions. He emphasized the recent establishment of Korean language courses at the university's Language and Translation Center, launched in cooperation with the Korean Consulate.
The workshop serves as a gateway for understanding the Korean language and culture, while also introducing various Korean universities and academic institutions to students interested in studying abroad or pursuing joint academic ventures.
