On 23 November 2025, the 44th commencement ceremony for the final-stage graduates of Salahaddin University was held. The ceremony celebrated both the first and second rounds of the 2024–2025 academic year's graduating class.
The event took place under the supervision and with the attendance of the esteemed representative of Mr Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, along with other officials.
In this cohort, 1,950 postgraduate students and 5,032 undergraduate students (Bachelor’s) were awarded their degrees. The SUE currently consists of 17 Colleges and 90 Academic Departments.
