In the University presidency office Dr Ahmed Dezaye, the president of university, welcomed a delegation of French National Library in order to carry out a number of mutual projects regarding culture and archaeology in the future.
In the beginning of the conference the President of the University emphasized the fact that SUE works towards internationalistion. Therefore, the University supports all the cultural projects which help to internationalise it.
The number of activities, particularly the conferences and workshops on an international level have been a witness of the fact that the university is taking huge steps towards internationalisation.
Also in the meeting Dr Ahmed Dezaye discussed a number of projects with the guest delegation as part of the Erasmus Plus programme, which is an educational program on the University level. In another part of his speech the president of the university discussed the progress of the university in the rankings particularly international and local rankings.
The guest delegation expressed happiness for collaborating with the university and they would deem the projects important. In this respect, they showed willingness to prepare a proposal in the field of culture and archaeology.
It's worth mentioning that the university has mutually worked with the Catholic University in Erbil and National Library of France and they have arranged a workshop which was a national workshop about culture and Syriac scripture.
