On 14 May 2026, Dr Kamaran Younis M. Amin, President of Salahaddin University (SUE), along with Prof Dr Abdulkarim Yasin, Dean of the College of Science, received Mr Maciej Zajdel, Consul General of Poland, and his colleague Mrs Monika Kończyk.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President congratulated Mr Zajdel on assuming his new position and highlighted the academic and cultural relations between SUE and Polish universities.
The meeting also emphasised the importance of strengthening coordination and cooperation between researchers and students, particularly in the areas of joint academic research and publications, as well as sending researchers abroad for one year or longer to carry out the practical components of their research.
