On 15 February 2026, and in the presence of Prof Dr Kamaran Younis M. Amin, President of Salahaddin University (SUE), Prof Dr Ali Dabag, President of Hawler Medical University, Shvan Mahmood, Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union; and Zahir Zahir, Head of the Qelat Branch, the “Colour and Thought” debate was held.
The event was organised jointly by the Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union, Salahaddin University and Hawler Medical University.
The debate highlighted the importance of cooperation and coordination between universities and the Students and Youth Union, with emphasis on strengthening joint efforts to better serve students and young people in Kurdistan.
