On 9 February 2026, Prof Dr Kamaran Younis M. Amin, President of Salahaddin University (SUE), in the presence of Prof Dr Saman Hussein, Acting Dean of the College of Languages and Head of the Chinese Language Department, received three lecturers from the Chinese Language Department.
The lecturers are Chinese nationals who are currently teaching students enrolled in the Chinese Language Department at SUE.
During the meeting, the President expressed the university’s full readiness to provide the necessary support to facilitate their stay and academic work, in line with the continued development of SUE.
The discussion also addressed the provision of study scholarships for graduates of the Chinese Language Department, enabling them in the future to join the department as local academic staff alongside international colleagues.
