On Sunday, 15 June 2025, Prof. Dr Kamaran Younis M. Amin, President of Salahaddin University-Erbil, in the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr Hussein Saadi, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr Musa Mohammed, Dean of the College of Arts, organised a recognition ceremony to honour a number of university lecturers, researchers, and authors who had recently donated hundreds of historical documents to the University’s Academic and Cultural Documentation Centre.
Notably, Asst. Prof. Dr Shalaw Abdulkhaliq, Director of the Academic and Cultural Centre, and Asst. Prof. Dr Burhan Hatem Gomattali, Head of the Historical Documents Unit, delivered remarks during the event, expressing gratitude to the donors for their valuable contributions and presenting official recognitions as a token of appreciation on behalf of the university.
