On 28 October 2025, Professor Dr Kamaran Younis Mohammed Amin, President of Salahaddin University-Erbil, accompanied by Professor Dr Hussein Saadi, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Mr Zahir Zahir, Head of the Qalat Branch of the Students’ and Youth Union, and Ms Shirin Khalid, Head of the Future Region Committee, paid an official visit to the College of Veterinary Medicine.
During the visit, the delegation met with Assistant Professor Dr Ahmad Mohammed, Dean of the College, along with the Vice Dean and Heads of Departments. The President was briefed on the current academic and administrative situation, and enquired about the needs and concerns of the students in various departments.
In another part of the visit, the President toured several departments of the college, where he engaged directly with students, listened to their feedback and suggestions, and discussed ways to improve the educational environment.
