The CIMPA-ICTP “Research in Pairs” program offers a valuable opportunity for mathematicians from developing countries to collaborate with European colleagues on a joint research project. This initiative supports short research visits to Europe, where two researchers—one from a developing country and one based in Europe—work together as a pair on a clearly defined research topic.
Priority is given to applicants who have remained scientifically active despite challenging circumstances, such as heavy teaching loads, administrative duties, or limited access to international travel in the past five years.
We encourage our researchers to make the most of this opportunity by applying and engaging in international collaboration.
