On 23 November 2025, the new Director of Quality Assurance and Programme Development formally commenced his duties at Salahaddin University–Erbil. The occasion was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr Kameran Younis Mohammed-Amin, President of Salahaddin University–Erbil, and Professor Dr Shareef Maulod Shareef, Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, along with several directors of the University Presidency.
During the handover, Asst. Prof. Dr Shwan Omer officially assumed the position of Director of Quality Assurance and Programme Development, succeeding Prof. Dr Abbas Burhan, who previously held the post.
