Attended by the University president, Salahaddin University-Erbil announced opening the Internet Centre for recording online lectures at the University research centre.
This followed a visit by the Erasmus Plus delegation to the University.
The University president explained the role of the project to the guest delegation stating that the project is a way to facilitate learning for students and it would enhance the academic progress at the university.
Later, head of the delegation said that there are similar centres in Iran and Ukraine and other countries. This project is a positive step and it would speed up the learning process.
Director of the centre, Dr Mohammed Aziz, said that opening this centre is a significant step towards progress. The University students have access to all online lecturers including the ones they didn't attend.
