On 26 January 2026, Prof Dr Kamaran Younis M. Amin, President of Salahaddin University–Erbil (SUE), received Ms Maryam, Programme Manager of “Prospects for Peace through Education” at the German DAAD organisation in Erbil, in the presence of Dr Awara Ibrahim, Director of University Relations, along with a group of students from the Kurdistan Region.
During the meeting, the President expressed his appreciation to the DAAD organisation for this initiative, which provides targeted support for undergraduate students. He also praised the organisation’s efforts in offering financial assistance to students and academic staff and in preparing beneficiaries for effective entry into the labour market.
He reaffirmed that SUE values such international partnerships and continues to encourage programmes that enhance students’ academic development and future employability.
