A delegation from Salahaddin University-Erbil took part in the international academic conference titled “Yazidis: Religion, Culture, History, and Geography”, which was held in the city of Duhok under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
The two-day conference featured the presentation and discussion of 63 research papers, all focused on the Yazidi community—their faith, culture, historical heritage, and geographical context.
It is worth noting that faculty members from SUE played a significant role across all thematic sections of the conference, contributing meaningfully to its academic discussions.
