On 11 October, a delegation from Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE) took part in an international scientific conference held at the University of Gdańsk in Poland.
The delegation included Prof. Dr Abdulkarim Yaseen, Dean of the College of Science, and Dr Karzan Kazim, Director of the General Registration Directorate at SUE.
The conference focused on Neurodegenerative Brain Iron Accumulation (NBIA), a rare neurological disorder related to iron accumulation in brain cells.
The two-day event featured numerous scientific discussions and research presentations, during which the SUE delegation became acquainted with several recent academic studies and developments concerning neurodegenerative brain cell conditions.
