College of Islamic Sciences Building Handed Over to Salahaddin University
On 2 October 2024, in a ceremony attended by Dr. Peshtiwan Sadiq, Asst. Prof. Dr Kamaran Younis Mohammed-Amin (President of Salahaddin University), Musa Ahmad (Head of Barzani Charity Foundation), Abdulsalam Madani (General Director of Rwanga Foundation), the Kuwaiti Consul, the Head of the Islamic Scholars Union, and Kanaan Khailani, the new College of Islamic Sciences building was officially handed over to Salahaddin University-Erbil.
The construction project of the College of Islamic Sciences building was carried out under the supervision of the Kurdistan Regional Government, in cooperation with the Kuwaiti Consulate in the Kurdistan Region. The project was funded by the Kuwait Relief Society, with the Barzani Charity Foundation serving as the financial representative for this distinguished project. Salahaddin University-Erbil is the owner of the project.
This development marks a significant milestone in expanding educational facilities at Salahaddin University, which was made possible through international cooperation and charitable contributions.
