On 3 September 2025, in the presence of Prof. Dr Kamaran Younis M. Amin, President of Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE), Dr Yara Barzanji, Director of Kurdistan Foundation, Prof. Dr. Hussein Saadi, Vice President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, along with some directors of SUE and staff from Kurdistan Foundation, Jobs KRD, and representatives of participating companies in the Youth and Work program, the closing ceremony was held.
During the ceremony, the University President delivered a speech and, on behalf of the Salahaddin University Council, congratulated all the individuals and parties who participated in the program, as well as the students and university graduates.
Continuing his speech, the University President said: "The Youth and Work program is part of a memorandum of understanding between Salahaddin University and Kurdistan Foundation that we signed this year, which has opened opportunities for joint projects in several important areas to better serve the youth of Kurdistan. Today, an important occasion has brought us all together, which is the closing ceremony and certificate awarding to 60 students and graduates of SUE who have undergone practical skills development training in 18 renowned companies over the course of one month."
He also said, "From here, I announce that Salahaddin University is ready for cooperation and joint work with capable institutions like Kurdistan Foundation, companies, and organizations for the sake of better serving our beloved Kurdistan, which is our university's primary objective."
