Professor Dr Shilan Yasin Khidr, academic staff member at the College of Arts, Department of Media, at Salahaddin University – Erbil (SUE), took part in an international academic conference with a research paper presented in English entitled:
“Kurds and Kurdistan in Russian Archives and Documented Records: Documenting a Stateless Nation.”
The conference was hosted by the University of Halabja – College of Humanities, under the title:
“The Sixth International Scientific Conference on Humanities: Kurds and Kurdistan in Foreign Sources and Documents – Second Session,”
and was held over the course of two days.
It is noteworthy that the research papers presented at this conference are expected to be published in a recognised journal with an impact factor in the near future.
