Workshop about developing news writing
Salahaddin University arranges a workshop about news report writing, in coordination with Director of Economics in Numbers Institute, at Social and Cultural Centre.
The workshop was attended by Dr Mostafa Attar – Vice-President of the University, directors of media departments in colleges and representatives of all the University directories. Bilal Saeed, the speaker, explained ways to produce news reports and highlight activities through the University media.
He pinpointed a number of areas where the University could strengthen its media including social media. He also recommended that there should be a strong link between media directories at colleges and the presidency. Later he offered hands-on techniques to the participants who were asked to produce news reports towards the end of the workshop.
