This evening, on 1 March 2025, a distinguished commemoration was held in honour of the late national and spiritual leader, Mullah Mustafa Barzani.
The event was attended by Dr Kamaran Younis Mohammed Amin, President of Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE), Blnd Ismail, Head of Second Unit, Dr Amanj Bradosti, Director of the University Campus, along with university vice presidents, deans of several colleges, faculty members, and staff.
The ceremony began with a photo exhibition displaying iconic images of the great leader, showcasing his charisma and historical significance.
Following this, a panel discussion was presented by Dr Hawzhin Omar, featuring Dr Qaraman Haidar Rahman, who spoke about Mullah Mustafa Barzani’s role in leading the Kurdish liberation movement. Additionally, Nawshirwan Sharif, General Director of the Bureau at the Ministry of Martyrs and Anfal Affairs, reflected on Barzani’s political ideology.
The event concluded with an interactive discussion among attendees, exploring the key themes of the panel.
