SUE President sends congratulations on the Kurdish Journalism Day
The President of Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE) sends a message on the occasion of the 126th anniversary of Kurdish journalism which reads:
"In the name of God, the Almighty, the Most Gracious.
"Dear teachers, employees, and students, Happy 126th anniversary of Kurdish journalism. I hope our teachers in the Department of Media of Salahaddin University will work with the utmost loyalty and try to educate our students in a modern and professional manner.
"Kurdish journalism needs a clear and academic approach so that journalists can deal with events with honesty and academic rigour.
The first issue of Kurdistan newspaper was published by Miqdad Medhat Badrkhan and this served the Kurdish language, culture, and all other aspects of Kurdish society."
