SUE are at the forefront for the second time in Huawei program
In the graduation ceremony of the SEEDS program, SUE students are at the forefront for the second time, in the program which is arranged annually by Huawei company in which 50 students participated.
This program offers free courses to students in the fields of Chinese Culture, Cloud Computing and AI. In this program, the majority of Iraqi universities participate and in the end, the best participants are awarded by Huawei Company.
It is worth mentioning that both deanery of College of Engineering and College of Sciences, particularly the departments of Software Engineering and Computer Sciences, have had a significant role in developing the skills of students in the field of programming and IT, which has resulted in the successive achievements in the mentioned fields.
In this ceremony, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies and Director of IT Centre at SUE participated.
The ceremony was also attended by Mr Rafid Abbas (Vice-President of Huawei in Iraq), Prof. Dr Alaa Abdulhasan (Advisor at Ministry of Higher Education in Iraq) and Ahmed Waleed (Director of Directorate of Transport in the Ministry of Transport and Communication in Iraq).
