Salahaddin Unviersity-Erbil presidents meets American University in Sulaimani
At the main building of our university Prof. Dr. Ahmad Dizayee welcomed Bruce Walker (President of American university in sulaimany), they discussed academic and joint work together.
In the meeting our president talked about the joint work of the universities and how joyed he is to welcome this delegation, then he gave a brief on our university’s history and emphasized on the development the university achieved on local, country and international level, and mentioned on MOU the university has with other international universities, for example 12 ERASMUS programs which they serve the university.
Regarding the post-graduation studying in our university, the president explained the plan of Salahaddin University-Erbil, the plan is to provide 450 seats for PhD students, 800 seats for Masters degree and 100 seats for High Diplomas in all the fields available in our university.
On the other hand, Bruce Walker, expressed his pleasure in meeting our president and emphasized on the importance of Salahaddin University-Erbil in higher education of our region and how the university managed to make all these developments in this short amount of time. Also, he talked about the courses run in their university in English language.
In addition, both presidents talked about creating more joint programs to achieve better education in the region and enforce their collaboration.
