To follow up on the mutual projects that Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE) has in Germany, the University President, Dr Ahmed Dezaye, visited a number of universities. Dezaye met with the vice-presidents of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe.
The President visited a training course on education and free trade in the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in which 20 lecturers of SUE have attended for the duration of two weeks.
It is worth mentioning that in the past five years, with the support of DAAD organisation, a large number of SUE lecturers have been trained in the German universities in different educational fields—around two thousand teachers and students have benefited from these programmes. The German universities have had a positive effect on establishing programmes which encourage multicultural and coexistence in the region.
