Salahaddin University President Dr Ahmed Dezaye and the University Vice-President for Administrative and Financial Affairs welcomed the Consul General of the USA in Erbil and his guest delegation in the College of Basic Education.
In the meeting, they discussed the mutual projects between Salahaddin University-Erbil and the American universities, mentioning the Erasmus and IREX programmes along with the relation between the University and Cincinnati University in Ohio.
On the other hand, they discussed the importance of free market and multicultural education which will both benefit higher education and graduands. The university lecturers at the college shared their opinion on the relation between the University and the American universities hoping that future projects and academic exchange will advance further.
Later, Dr Ahmed presented his Excellency the Consul General with the University token.
