In the meeting hall of the University Council, the University President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dezaye, presided over a meeting to show respect to the results of the high ranking committee.
In the meeting, which was attended by the vice-president for scientific affairs and postgraduate studies, the University President expressed thanks to all the members of the high ranking committee who have been able to organise and and provide the relevant parties with the information and data of the University.
As a result, the University has ended up as the top-ranked university in KRI, and among the 10 best universities in Iraq.
Dr Dezaye also emphasized that from the beginning of the ranking process they set objectives and with the help and support of the committee they have been able to fulfill and achieve these objectives.
On the other hand, the vice-president for scientific affairs and postgraduate studies Dr Mustafa Attar sent thanks to the committee for all the endeavour and hard work.
It is worth mentioning that Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Affairs of KRG will soon announce the results of the new KRG university rankings in a press conference.
