Salahaddin University-Erbil celebrates 126th anniversary of Kurdish journalism
On 21 April 2024, under the supervision of the President of Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE) and the presence of Prof. Dr Qadir Mohammed - Dean of the College of Arts, Asst. Prof. Dr Azad Abdulaziz - Head of the Department of Media and Mr Hakim Azad Hamad Amin - Deputy of the Journalists Union, the 126th anniversary of Kurdish journalism was celebrated at SUE at a symposium.
This anniversary was held under the title of "Kurdish Journalism Past, Present, and Future". Several papers and panels were held at the symposium, including a panel on the challenges of Kurdish media and a panel on the skills in media and adaptation of media to the needs of the market.
