Along with the academic activities and focus on the critical issues in the society، College of Administration and Economy at Salahaddin University Erbil arranged a panel for both renowned researchers in economy Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Mashhadani and Asst. Prof. Dr. Saifuldin Haddisi about the role of political stability in attracting foreign investors and reinvigorating economy sector in Iraq.
The University president Dr Ahmed Dezaye، Dean of College of Administration and Economy، heads of departments، lecturers and students of the college attended the panel.
Prof. Dr . Abdulrahman Mashhadani، first، presented a topic titled “Lack of Stability in Discouraging Local and Foreign Investors” in which he discussed the importance of stability attracting foreign investors to start investing in Iraq.
Also in the panel، Dr Saifuldin Haddisi presented a topic titled “Oil Policies and their Effect on Squandering Iraqi Resources” in which he highlighted the effects of wrong policies in oil and energy sector on the Iraqi economy.
Both panels elicited a heated discussion from the participants.
