The president Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dizayee, Dr. Mustafa Attar vice president, Dr. Wala Ghazi director of pedagogical and academic development, the course for acquiring scientific title started.

The course started with a speech presented by university president, and he stated: “our university always presented courses for lecturers to take scientific title, within time the style of teaching has changed and keeps changing and evolving, that’s why and based on ministry of higher education recommendations we have establish this directorate to maintain the best quality in teaching and follow all the new systems in the academic era”.

Then Dr. Wala Ghazi directorate of pedagogy and academic development presented a speech and she stated: “this pedagogy course is very crucial for new lecturers to learn to deliver the great information they have to students. The trainers took courses and lectures on how they train new lecturers in Finland. This course lasts for six months and each month has a different style of teaching which is completely different from other.

The pedagogy course is a new program that is applied in KRG universities, and trainers/lecturers were trained in Finland to be able to deliver this course.
