MoU signed between KRG and universities of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
On 6 May 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr Kamaran Younis M. Amin, President of Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE), received Dr. Mamun Mohammed Al-Dabai'i, Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and Fuad Majali Consul General of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the Kurdistan Region and some presidents of Jordanian universities.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and several presidents of private and public universities in the Kurdistan Region.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President of SUE warmly welcomed the guests and expressed his pleasure for this scientific and academic meeting.
The SUE President also spoke about the importance of relations between Salahaddin University and Jordanian universities and noted that currently, many students of SUE are studying aviation at the Royal Jordanian Airport.
In the meeting, Dr. Mamoun Mohammed Al-Dabai'i, Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan, pointed out the role of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Ministry of Higher Education in having good relations between Kurdistan universities. He added that in the future they can expand their scientific relations and promote higher education and exchange of students and teachers.
