"Chaldean, Assyrian and Syrian brothers and sisters, students, teachers and employees of Salahaddin University-Erbil, I warmly congratulate you on the occasion of the Akitu holiday.
"With the return of the New Year of the Babylonian and Assyrian New Year Akitu of 6773, we emphasize that Salahaddin University-Erbil, as always, will maintain mutual acceptance and religious and ethnic tolerance for all its communities and we will protect the culture of pluralism and solidarity amongst students, teachers and employees.
