Message of President of Salahaddin University-Erbil, on 35th anniversary of Anfal Genocide
"In the name of God, the Almighty, the Most Gracious.
"Anfal was a heinous and brutal crime committed by the previous regime against the Kurdish people which was carried out in several stages. Some areas and villages of Kurdistan were destroyed and innocent civilians were arrested and killed.
On the 35th anniversary of Anfal, we pay tribute to the martyrs of Kurdistan who died in the brutal crime of this genocide."
