SUE president in the International Symposium On Architecture that Held at Salahaddin University
Attended by the University President Dr Ahmed Dezaye, representative of the Ministry of Housing and Reconstruction Agreen Aziz, representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a large number of engineers, and local and international entrepreneurs, the first symposium was held at Salahaddin University-Erbil in cooperation with Warsaw University of Technology.
In the symposium, it was shed light on topics related to architectural engineering and housing and the ways to develop this sector in Erbil for the projects which have been completed or are in process along with the new university campus.
The University President delivered a speech in which he highlighted the importance of such activities. He said that the University will be willing to welcome any initiative that aims towards the development of the Kurdistan Region. Mentioning the new campus, he said that we have a plan to resume the project as soon the as the financial state of the region becomes stable.
He also mentioned how the region can benefit from the experience which Poland has been through after WWII, particularly the efforts made to reconstruct the country.
Agreen Aziz, on the other hand, spoke about the prospective housing and construction projects which could be implemented soon in the Kurdistan Region.
