Gender equality and women power in a conference
In a collaboration between SUE, Sulaimany University, Duhok University and Kurdistan University Hawler, a conference was arranged in Erbil to address gender equality and women power with the title "Gender Equality and Women Power Strategy, a Case of Kurdistan Region of Iraq".
The conference was attended by the KRG President Nechirvan Barzani, the Speaker of KRG Parliament Dr Rewas Fayaq, the Deputy Prime Minister of KRG Qubad Talabani, the representative of the UN in Iraq, and a number of distinguished guests, activists and diplomats.
