Director of Regional Office of Amman at DAAD visits Salahaddin University
SUE President, Asst. Prof. Dr Kamaran Younis Mohammedamin, welcomed Benjamin Schmäling, the Director of the Regional Office of Amman at DAAD, to foster relations between SUE and German universities.
Mr Schmäling stressed the importance of the German Department at SUE and how cooperation has continued for 11 years between SUE and DAAD to promote academic endeavours.
Also in the meeting, the Director of the Regional Office mentioned establishing a new program known as the Ta'ziz partnership. The program will go underway in October 2022, and among the most important activities would be cooperation between KRI universities and German universities, among which SUE will have a leading role.
Mustafa Saber Al-Attar, President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, mentioned the exchange program of students and teachers to participate in the training program. Over 100 teachers from the College of Basic Education have taken part in training in Germany.
At the end of the meeting, SUE President presented the university logo to the guest delegation.
