Zanko Journal for Humanities Indexed in DOAJ
Academic journals serve as a vital platform for sharing research and connecting researchers worldwide. To maximise readership and accessibility, journals strive to meet international database standards, ensuring that scholarly work reaches a broader audience. Researchers, in turn, seek to make their studies widely available, embracing open-access publishing to enhance the impact of their work.
In this spirit, Zanko Journal for Humanities, with the support of the President of Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE), the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, the Directorate of Quality Assurance, the IT Department, the journal’s editorial team, administrative staff, researchers, and reviewers, has achieved a significant milestone. After a long-term vision, tireless dedication, and fundamental improvements to the journal’s guidelines, review process, and electronic system, Zanko Journal for Humanities has been officially indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
This recognition ensures that the journal’s research is now accessible to a wider readership, increasing its visibility, citation impact, and academic influence. More researchers will now engage with the published studies, strengthening the journal’s role in the global research community.
Achieving success is important, but sustaining and expanding it is even more crucial. We look forward to continued support from SUE’s leadership, editorial team, researchers, and reviewers to further enhance the journal’s impact and maintain this achievement.
