Three faculty members from the Special Education Department, College of Education, Salahaddin University-Erbil, namely: Dr. Araz Hakim Reza, Dr. Kosar Mohammed Shakir, and Dr. Karokh Jawhar Jalal were selected to participate in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) between March 18 and April 7, 2025. The program is organized by the U.S. Consulate General in Erbil, Iraq titled "Disability Legislation in Practice".
This program is an educational, intellectual, and cultural exchange program managed by the U.S. Department of State. It invites researchers from various fields worldwide to visit the United States, where they engage with their American counterparts in diverse sectors, including economy, society, education, arts, science, and media.
We sincerely appreciate the U.S. Consulate General in Erbil for their unwavering support and tireless efforts in assisting universities across the Kurdistan Region, particularly Salahaddin University.
