9th university council meeting was held in College of Education in Shaqlawa on 5th November 2016 with the presence of Asst.Prof.Dr.Ahmed Dezaye. In the meeting, the university president congratulated Asst. Prof. Dr. Jawher Fatah Saeed on starting as the incumbent Vice President for Administration and Financial Affairs, and he hoped that they would work in a team towards the advancement of the university.
The university president also stated that holding this university meeting in College of Education in Shaqlawa shows that the university is taking the initiative to help and support the college. Not to mention the fact that the college was not established in the best time, with Kurdistan Region experiencing a financial crisis, however, the university will still be able to provide the college with necessary equipment.
