As the president of the oldest and biggest public university in Kurdistan, I am delighted to welcome you to Salahaddin University-Erbil, Kurdistan's Capital University.

For more than 45 years, SUE has been home to talented scholars, artists, writers and others who have been drawn from all over the world to teach, perform, create, and study. We have achieved recognition in the Middle East in a wide range of areas – in engineering, sciences, liberal and fine arts, agriculture, business, law, education, social work, and public service. Our talented faculty and staff are committed to excellence in teaching, research and academic support for our community.
