In the university presidency office, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dzyaee “the president of Salahaddin University”, his assistants and university’s different specialists receives Dr. Dlawer Ala'Aldeen “the Founding President of Middle East Research Institute (MERI)”.
During their session they discussed enhancing the relationships between Salahaddin University and MERI Institute for more cooperation including the ability and local exams for salahaddin university academics in all aspects especially the political and economic fields to participate in the summit organized by MERI Institute panel in various aspects of current issues in Kurdistan and Iraq. They decided to develop and activate university lecturers’ ability. They also exchanged the mutual agreement and signed it in order that the university lecturers’ will be near Kurdistan political and economic reality.
What we should not forget that MERI Institute during the period of its establishment played an active role in organizing seminars, meetings and conferences about current issues and dilemma in Kurdistan and Iraq, many famous politicians were invited to attend and participate in these activities to discuss Kurdistan political and economic reality. However, despite all these activities, they are working closely with Kurdistan universities especially Salahaddin University to achieve more activities in the future.
