Hands-on Basic genomics, proteomics, and Tissue culture techniques
workshops Description
A series of workshops in genomics and proteomics techniques will be offered by the General Directorate of Scientific Research Center / Salahaddin University-Erbil (SURC) during the academic year 2021-2022 for Researchers, post-graduate students, and other interested scholars. The workshops are designed and delivered by research scientists from the SURC and Hawler Medical University to give the opportunity to learn the most up-to-date molecular techniques.
Overview
During this practical Nine-days workshops, participants will learn a wide range of techniques used in the laboratory of molecular biology and biotechnology. This includes thorough practical sessions to perform various techniques from Nucleic Acid Extraction to Protein Isolation and Purification.
Aim
The aim of this training workshops is to arm participants with adequate knowledge of molecular techniques required to performing impact scientific research. To let the participants experience the hands-on training on molecular genetic techniques, and bioinformatics.
