On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, the College of Law hosted a high-impact seminar on professional success as part of the ongoing initiatives of the university’s Career Development Center. The session was held in the presence of Prof. Bakhtiar Saber Bayaz, Dean of the College, and Dr. Ali Taha Akram, Head of the Department of Law, underscoring a strong commitment to leadership and student career readiness. During the seminar, Lect. Hussein Ahmad Mustafa, Director of the Career Development Center, unpacked three mission-critical pillars for employability: building an effective CV, deploying smart job-search strategies, and mastering interview performance. The session also featured hands-on simulation exercises where second-year law students practiced real interview scenarios to enhance confidence and communication fluency.
The discussion evolved into a dynamic knowledge-exchange space enriched by inputs, questions, and insights from faculty members and students. The interactive format positioned the seminar as a tactical learning touchpoint aligned with future workplace expectations. At the conclusion of the event, the Dean of the College expressed appreciation. He presented certificates of thanks and recognition to the Director of the Career Development Center and to Dr. Mardin Dilnya Mohammed Ali for their contributions to enhancing student career competencies.
