On April 22, 2025, the Career Development Center (CDC) at the Department of Accounting, in collaboration with department faculty members, organized a scientific field trip for second-year accounting students to the Financial Supervision Bureau. The visit aimed at providing students with firsthand insight into the processes of government oversight of financial transactions and to familiarize them with the operational mechanisms of public sector financial management. The trip emphasized the practical application of public accounting as a core subject in the department’s curriculum to strengthen students’ professional skills and prepare them for successful entry into the labor market. By directly observing real-world financial supervision practices, students were able to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical experience, enhancing their readiness to apply their skills effectively in future careers.
The activity was supervised by Assist. Lect. Nazdar Abdul Razzaq Mawlod, Member of the CDC, along with Lect. Omar Ibrahim Mohammed, Assist. Lect. Tavga Nasruddin Rahman, Assist. Lect. Shokhan Osman Hassan, and Assist. Lect. Saleem Mustafa.
