On Thursday, February 6, 2025, the College of Basic Education hosted a seminar titled The Impact of Online Violence on Mental Health: Understanding Risks and Building Resilience, as part of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being). The event was held in the presence of Assist. Prof. Dr. Mizgin Ahmad Abdurahman, Dean of the College, Career Development Committee of the College of Primary Education, i.e. Assist. Lec. Shkofa Ahmed Azeez, Chairman of the Committee, and committee members, Dr. Bukhari Abdullah, Assist. Lec. Newroz Yasin, Assist. Lec. Faryad Saleh, Assist. Lec. Sirwan Abdulsamad, and Assist. Lec. Massoud Najmuddin, as part of the CDC’s ongoing activities. The seminar explored key aspects of online violence, shedding light on its psychological effects and strategies for building resilience. Through a combination of theoretical insights and practical approaches, students gained a deeper understanding of the risks associated with digital interactions and how to protect their mental well-being. The session concluded with a certificate of honor awarded in recognition of the contributions made to the presenter.
