Today, February 19, 2025, as part of the Decent Work and Economic Growth Symposium, Lect. Hussein Ahmed Mustafa, Director of the Career Development Center, delivered an insightful presentation on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8), which focuses on promoting sustained economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all. During the seminar, he explored key challenges to achieving this goal, emphasizing the barriers that hinder sustainable economic development and equitable employment opportunities. He also highlighted the crucial role of educators in fostering an environment that supports decent work, employment rights, workforce inclusion, and diversity. Despite the challenges, he stressed the importance of collective efforts in advocating fair labor practices and empowering future generations to contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive economy.
