At 9.00 a.m. on Tuesday 17 November 2015, in the presidency office, Dr. Ahmed Anwer Dizayee the president of Salahaddin University welcomed a delegation from Archaeology Department of Barcelona University in Spain which consisted of Professor Michael Most, Professor Josef Andafwans and Professor Anna Goomz Baj.

In the meeting, they discussed the archaeological excavation of Lashkari Hill of Erbil suburbs, they discovered a number of archaeological pieces which will be examined in Barcelona University with the presence of a number of Salahaddin University postgraduate students so that they can find out the date of these archaeological pieces which the archeologists have found.

On the other hand, they discussed the cooperation of Archaeology Department of Salahaddin University and the Spanish university, the relationship between them and exchanging archaeological information. It is worth mentioning that the head of Archaeology Department of Salahaddin University was present.
