In his office, Dr Ahmed Dezaye, SU president, received a delegation of Quality Control of Ministry of Construction and Housing in Iraq. In the meeting, they shed light on the continuous effort SU has made to promote education and academia despite all the constraints posed by the status quo.
In another part of the meeting, there was a discussion about translating 44 engineering books from the Arabic language to Kurdish. It is hoped that the students and teachers of engineering colleges in KRG make a good use of them as resources.
In this regard, SU president expressed his support for the project and asked an advisory board formed by the College of Languages and Engineering to accomplish the final steps of the project.
